  1. Add one descaling tablet to the water reservoir of the coffee maker.
  2. Fill the reservoir with clean water up to the maximum fill line.

For single-cup machines:

  1. Run 2 brew cycles using the largest cup size setting.
  2. Discard the dirty water between each brew.

For multi-cup machines:

  1. Run one full brew or cleaning cycle into the coffee pot.
  2. After descaling, rinse and wipe the reservoir and other interior surfaces of the coffee maker.
  3. Run 1-2 additional brew cycles with clean water only to remove any remaining cleaner residue.
  4. Refer to the directions on the product packaging for additional guidance specific to your machine.
